The simplest way to cater a company event with halal-observant guests is to order from a kitchen where all of the meat is halal. Then nobody needs a separate tray, a special label or a side conversation with the organizer. At Curry Up Now, 100% of the meat is halal: every chicken, lamb and meat dish. Supplier documentation is available on request. Catering runs from 10 to 1,000 guests.
The usual fix is one halal tray next to the regular spread. In practice it runs out first, gets mixed up with the other trays, or sits at the end of the line with a handwritten sign. A fully halal menu removes the problem: the halal guest eats the same tikka masala as everyone else.
For a seated lunch or all-hands, a party package covers the room: chicken tikka masala and kadhai chicken, lamb rogan josh, saag paneer for vegetarians, chana masala or aloo gobi for vegan guests, turmeric rice, naan, mini samosas and chutneys. For a working lunch, individual boxes such as the Tikka Masala Bowl, the Makhni Butter Bowl and the Hella Vegan Bowl come labeled, so each guest grabs their own.
Because the full menu is halal, an iftar or Eid gathering needs no special order. For an iftar, give the exact time the food needs to be ready so delivery lands at sunset, and book two to three days ahead for 50 guests or more.
Serving spoons, utensils and napkins come with every order. Chafing dishes, plates, setup and staffed stations cost extra.
